the band
Back in 2016, on the tail end of a long Swedish winter, colleagues Anders, Frej, Meredith, Paolo, Taavi and Yasa founded Case Deflection to play covers of their favorite songs. The band quickly became a local sensation with their high-energy live shows.
As Case Deflection matured, it underwent a shift to original material as well as changes in personnel, and ultimately settled on Anders on guitar, Tryggvi on bass and back vocals, Olivia on drums and Yasa on vocals and guitar.
2019 was the year of their first single, Waiting For You, which instantly became a crowd favorite. The band has since been writing and recording new music. In 2024 the band released Hateful Design, which was already a staple of the band's live performances.
